Ruth Niekamp has always been fascinated by the human body and its ability to heal.

Her journey in rehabilitation began years ago when she started working as a rehab tech, where she witnessed firsthand the incredible impact that physical therapy has on patients.

Inspired to do more, she pursued massage therapy and found immense fulfillment in helping people feel better through hands-on care.

When she could no longer practice massage in the way she wanted, she knew it was time to return to physical therapy—her true passion lies in helping people regain their strength and mobility.

Ruth values the unique environment at Performance Physical Therapy & Wellness, where cutting-edge technology and continuous learning play a key role in patient care.

She especially appreciates the strong communication between therapists, as they constantly collaborate and share ideas to enhance treatment outcomes.

Outside of work, Ruth spends most of her time with her family. With both of her daughters involved in sports, she can often be found cheering them on at the gym or the track.
