Frequently Asked Questions
Why physical therapy?
Physical Therapy is a low cost, conservative treatment method vs. medication, MRIs, surgery, etc. If, however, Therapy is not effective or surgery is needed, you will be advised of this. To see what we treat, click on the Treatments Tab above.
Do I need a physician referral to receive therapy?
Typically no. Ohio is a “direct access” state where a physician referral is not necessary for you to be seen. However, some health insurance plans do require a physician’s referral for therapy to be covered.
Will you accept my health insurance?
We participate in the majority of insurance plans, including Medicare and Worker’s Compensation.
Can I receive treatment if I am out-of-network or do not have insurance?
Certainly! We have a self-pay schedule that will eliminate any need for pre-certifications, insurance filings, etc.
