MEET THE TEAM

Elizabeth Oliver, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Elizabeth Oliver, PTA, brings a deep personal connection to her work in physical therapy.

After undergoing extensive knee surgery in 2009, she experienced firsthand the challenges and triumphs of rehabilitation, spending 18 months in therapy to regain her mobility and return to dancing.

This journey inspired her to pursue a career in physical therapy, where she could help others overcome similar obstacles.

Elizabeth attended Rhodes State College in Lima, Ohio, immediately after graduating high school in 2013. She began practicing as a PTA in August 2017, working in an orthopedic setting in Muncie, Indiana, before joining Performance Physical Therapy & Wellness in January 2022.

While her primary expertise lies in orthopedic and post-operative care, she has been expanding her knowledge in neurological conditions and is passionate about broadening her skill set.

She is ASTYM certified and continues to learn more about cutting-edge techniques, including the Neufit Method and Frequency Specific Microcurrent.

Her approach to patient care is highly individualized—she tailors exercises and therapy activities to align with each patient’s personal goals, hobbies, and daily responsibilities.

She finds immense fulfillment in helping patients regain their strength and function, utilizing advanced technology and a full-body approach to treatment.

To stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy, Elizabeth engages in continuing education through MedBridge, hands-on learning in the clinic, and independent research on conditions relevant to her patients.

She values the collaborative environment at Performance Physical Therapy & Wellness, where access to innovative treatment methods allows her to provide the best possible care.

Outside of work, Elizabeth cherishes quality time with her husband and two children, as well as with family and friends. She and her husband enjoy hiking and look forward to sharing their love of the outdoors with their children as they grow.
